Known World 901 is the expansion of the Western World 901 variant.  The variant rules are on the map, and the province names have the official abbreviations underlined.

Variant News/Hall of Fame:

The first playtest, of version 1.0, has been completed.  ACD 214, played in the Academy of Creative Destruction, ended in a four way draw, among Nick Higgins playing Germany, Martin Gilbey playing India, Kester Bearne playing Italy (no longer a Power in the latest version), and Suzanne Castagne, playing Samanidia (Turan, in the latest version).
 
A game of version 2.0 of the variant is now running simultaneously as a Demonstration Game in the Diplomacy World E-zine and in the DiplomaticCorp forum.
